MBC Sunday School. . .
Exists to REACH, TEACH, and MINISTER to all people.
A church is not a church unless it is personal. No one is looking for an
institutional approach to church; rather, people desire an individual
approach to church. Sunday School does just that! Sunday School puts a
face and a smile on the church. Attending one of our classes will afford
you the opportunity to get to know who Metairie Baptist Church really is.
You see, Sunday School is a place to build relationships with others. It is
a place to go where you are known, loved and cared for.
Reach - Every Christian is called by Christ to go outside the
church walls and tell others about Him. All of our evangelistic
events through Sunday school fall under this banner. Evangelism is the
reason why we do Sunday School.
Teach - This is individual and group Bible study, teaching events,
and other resources that help Christians become stronger and
more mature in their faith. Spiritual growth is the key to Sunday School.
Minister - We devote our time, talent, and treasure to helping
other Christians in any way for the purpose of serving. Meeting the
needs of the people in the class, whether prospects or members.
